SEATTLE (August 4, 2021)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that 46 of its intellectual property (IP) attorneys were recognized by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) in the 2021 IAM Patent 1000 list, which recognizes the world’s leading, best-in-class patent professionals in patent prosecution, licensing, and litigation. The recognition marks an increase from the 37 firm attorneys named in 2020. The firm was also ranked nationally in the United States and China for patent litigation and prosecution.

As part of its 2021 rankings, IAM states that as “a leading technology firm which also runs one of the busiest and best IP contentious practices in the United States, Perkins Coie cuts a dash on the national patent scene. Its pristine track record in all major patent litigation forums—including the PTAB, the Federal Circuit and ITC—gives it an air of invincibility, which is enhanced by the size and smarts of its trial lawyer lineup.”

Perkins Coie also placed in eight regional categories, including Arizona, which was newly included by IAM this year. IAM named eight firm attorneys Global Leaders—Ramsey Al-Salam, Stephen Bishop, Christopher Daley-Watson, Peter Kinsella, Chun Ng, Paul Parker, Jerry Riedinger, and David St. John-Larkin, while five attorneys—Bing Ai, Dan Bagatell, Chun Ng—were recognized as leading national IP strategists.
