SEATTLE, Wash. (April 2, 2018) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that it has appointed numerous diverse partners to leadership positions, including women and partners of color.

The list of partners (in alphabetical order) recently named to leadership positions include:

  • Shylah Alfonso, a partner in the Seattle office, was named chair of the Partner Compensation Committee.
  • Cecily Barclay, a partner in the San Francisco office, was named chair of the Real Estate & Land Use practice.
  • Shannon Bloodworth, a partner in the Washington, D.C. office, was named co-chair of the Intellectual Property practice.
  • Jessica Everett-Garcia, a partner in the Phoenix office, was named managing partner of the firm’s Phoenix office.
  • Lisa McGimpsey, a partner in the Seattle office, was named co-chair of the Corporate practice.
  • Jaclyn McNally, a partner in the Chicago office, was named vice-chair of the Real Estate & Land Use practice.
  • Tina Moss, a partner in the New York office, was named to the firm’s Executive Committee.
  • Ann Marie Painter, a partner in the Dallas office, was named chair of the Labor & Employment practice.
  • Richard Ross, a partner in the New York office, was named chair of the Lateral Partner Committee.
  • Bruce Spiva, a partner in Washington, D.C. office, was named to the firm’s Executive Committee.

Last year, the firm became one of the first law firms to publicly support the American Bar Association’s Resolution 113, which aims to promote diversity in the legal profession. The firm also established a page on its website titled, “Meet Our Diverse Leaders,” which lists more than 100 diverse lawyers at the firm who hold national leadership roles within practice groups and subgroups, offices and firmwide committees.
