Jessica Everett-Garcia has nearly 25 years of experience as a litigator and trial lawyer, representing some of the world’s most recognized companies. She is experienced at handling a wide range of business disputes (both in litigation and prelitigation), with particular emphasis on contract claims and business torts, including negligence, fraud, and fiduciary duty claims. Her experience extends to state and federal court matters, jury and non-jury trials, appeals, arbitrations, and government investigations. Jessica also often represents foreign companies in contract and business tort litigation brought in U.S. courts and arbitration proceedings.
In addition to her involvement in community and professional organizations, Jessica has devoted significant time and energy to leadership roles within Perkins Coie. She currently serves as firmwide chair, Litigation Practice and as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Among other roles, Jessica was one of the founding subgroup chairs of Perkins Coie’s Women’s Forum and served in leadership roles with the forum for six years, including as the firmwide co-chair, has served on the Partner Compensation Committee, Associate and Counsel Evaluation Committee, Strategic Diversity Committee, Strategic Planning committees and task forces, and Professional Standards Committee.
