SEATTLE (October 15, 2020) - Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that the firm and six partners were recognized as leaders in USPTO inter partes review (IPR) proceedings in Patexia’s 2020 IPR Intelligence Report, an annual comprehensive report of IPR data and analysis over the last five years. Perkins Coie was the only firm ranked in the Top 10 in both the Best Performing Overall and Most Active Overall categories.

Perkins Coie was named the seventh best performing law firm overall for both patent owners and petitioners, with performance score of 94.9%. Six attorneys were also recognized for most active matters and best performance in the IPR space in the past year. The 2020 ranked partners include:

This is the fourth year Patexia has released the report, which is based on data compiled from public sources, including the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). The data includes over 7,700 IPR cases from July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2020.
