U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware
Patent infringement action involving street-level mapping technology.

Koninklijke Philips N.V. et al v. HTC Corp. et al

Represented HTC in 10 patent cases related to user interfaces, audio processing and streaming, data compression and device data entry.

Apple Inc. v. HTC Corp. et al

Defended HTC in actions alleging infringement of twenty patents related to operating systems and mobile handsets in the International Trade Commission (ITC) and District of Delaware.

DNT, LLC v. T-Mobile USA Inc.

Successfully obtained jury verdict and judgment of invalidity and noninfringement on behalf of T-Mobile in a multi-defendant patent litigation matter relating to wireless data cards.

Post Consumer Brands, LLC v. General Mills, Inc. et al

Successfully defeated motion for preliminary, as lead defense counsel on behalf of General Mills. Conducted two months of expedited discovery before the motion for preliminary injunction was denied, holding that General Mills had raised a substantial question concerning the validity of plaintiff’s design patent.

PTP OneClick LLC v. Avalara Inc.

Defending Avalara in a patent infringement and trade secret matter involving tax filing software.

CAP Co., Ltd. v. McAfee, Inc.

Secured a victory for McAfee in a multi-patent case brought by Korean computer security firm CAP. Convinced the district court to strike most of CAP's infringement allegations and then stay the litigation pending inter partes reviews. The PTAB ultimately declared all challenged claims unpatentable and rejected CAP's attempt to amend the claims of one patent to salvage some protection. The Federal Circuit affirmed both rulings.

REC Software USA, Inc. v. HTC America, Inc.

Defended HTC in a patent infringement matter regarding the HTC myTouch 3G mobile phone and a code server patent.
