SEATTLE (February 9, 2022)—Perkins Coie is pleased to represent MariaDB Corporation Ab, as it has entered into a business combination agreement to become a publicly listed company on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) with Angel Pond Holdings Corporation, a special purpose acquisition company. MariaDB is one of the fastest-growing open-source database software companies in the world and will form a partnership with NYSE-listed Angel Pond. Angel Pond is a special purpose acquisition company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination with one or more businesses.
