Monica Pelayo Associate

In 2019, Monica Pelayo was a summer associate for the firm. As a summer associate, she researched and wrote memoranda for pro bono matters.

During law school, Monica was an extern for UNICEF, where she worked under the Office of Innovation on the GIGA Initiative, a mission to connect every school to the internet. She researched regulations, policy and financing mechanisms to expand internet connectivity globally. She also interned at the United Nations International Law Commission, where she drafted and reviewed comments in response to proposed codification of international law.

Monica earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served as a developments editor on the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics.
