SEATTLE, Wash. (June 20, 2016) - Perkins Coie acted as outside counsel to Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY), one of the world's largest private owners of timberlands, in its agreement to sell its liquid packaging board business to Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd., a Japanese paper manufacturing company, for $285 million in cash.
