NEW YORK and WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 2, 2020) - Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that it represented Fox Corporation in its acquisition of three major-market television stations from Nexstar Media Group for a purchase price of $350 million.

The three Nexstar stations purchased by Fox Corporation are located in Seattle and Milwaukee and will expand the market presence of Fox Television Stations to 14 of the top 15 television markets. As part of the transaction, the firm also represented Fox Corporation in its sale to Nexstar of two Fox owned-and-operated stations in the Charlotte, North Carolina, market for $45 million. Both transactions closed concurrently today.

The Perkins Coie deal team was led by Partner Eric Dodson Greenberg, of the firm’s New York and Washington, D.C. offices, with assistance from Partners Tom Cristy, Carl Crow, Char Eberhardt, Julie Lucht, Marc Martin, Barry Reingold, Liana Spendlove and Sloane Wildman.
