Michael Wise was recognized by the Daily Journal* as a "Top Intellectual Property Attorney in California." In the article, "Michael J. Wise," he was quoted regarding his recent success.  

"The venture side of the business is up, but patent enforcement litigation is down and I think that has been driven by the post-grant reviews system," Wise said. 

The post-grant review system, which includes inter partes review at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, "has been pretty effective in knocking down those patents and reducing litigations," he said.
