Matt Bernstein was quoted in the IPWatchdog article, "What to Watch in 2021: IP Stakeholders Offer Predictions and Thoughts for the New Year," regarding his thoughts on what we should be watching or expecting for the year ahead.

"Generally, I expect the return of some normalcy in patent cases, including in-person trials and in-person dispositive / Markman hearings by the second half of 2021. While some courts such as the Western District of Texas and Eastern District of Texas already appear committed to conducting live trials during the first half of the year, I expect others courts will start lessening their trial backloads with live trials by late spring or early summer."
