Vanessa Agbar is a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, obtaining certifications in cybersecurity and healthcare law. She also interned for the Hon. Lynn Stewart Mays of the Circuit Court of Baltimore City, where she researched social media authentication and drafted post-conviction opinions.
While in law school, Vanessa was a member of the National Trial Team. As a member of the team, Vanessa won the American Bar Association Quinnipiac Criminal Justice Competition. In her final year of law school, she was an extern for the Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security, and a student attorney for the National Association of the Deaf. She was also a summer associate at Perkins Coie in 2021.
