Masa Noda represents national and global brands across a multitude of industries in intellectual property policing, protection, and enforcement. Masa’s practice includes all aspects of trademark, copyright, and unfair competition law, with a particular emphasis on brand development, trademark clearance and prosecution, trademark and copyright infringement litigation, false advertising litigation, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) litigation, and internet-related matters. He also regularly handles matters pertaining to intellectual property (IP) licensing, merchandising, anti-counterfeiting, data privacy and cybersecurity, contract disputes, acquisitions and divestitures, commercial exploitation of IP, and due diligence reviews.
Masa’s clients include both established and startup clients across diverse industries in consumer retail, personal care products, food, restaurants, fintech, fashion, entertainment, and media. With a keen understanding of his clients’ business needs, Masa manages U.S. and international trademark portfolios and offers clients creative, practical legal and business solutions in their IP development, protection, licensing, advertising, and marketing strategies.
A native Japanese speaker and a true bilingual, Masa represents many Japanese companies in various IP and corporate matters and serves as the go-to U.S. outside counsel for all types of legal matters.
