Partner Michael Huston and associates Karl Worsham and Victoria Romine were recognized by Law360 as being "Legal Lions" after the full U.S. Supreme Court declined an appeal that had prompted Justice Samuel Alito to briefly halt the Boy Scouts of America's bankruptcy proceeding and put its Chapter 11 plan into temporary disarray. Michael, Karl, and Victoria represented the Boy Scouts of America in the case. 

A Perkins Coie appellate litigation team has filed an amicus brief before the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of the Marketplace Industry Association (MIA), Etsy, and OfferUp which argues that burdensome state laws in Texas and Florida are eroding the First Amendment rights of digital marketplaces to moderate content on their platforms.  

A Perkins Coie team secured an enormous legal victory over the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit for a group of small petroleum refineries with respect to the agency’s Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS).
