Overview

Jim Go prepares and prosecutes U.S. and foreign patents in the electrical and computer engineering-related fields. With more than two decades of patent law experience, Jim provides clients with vital counsel on the full range of intellectual property-related matters. These include patent preparation and prosecution, patent reexaminations, opinions of patent validity and infringement, strategic IP planning, due diligence, portfolio management, litigation support, and IP counseling.

Jim represents companies across a broad range of technologies. These include computer software and hardware, analog and digital circuits, internet and electronic commerce technologies, semiconductor processes, photonics, optics, networking, and communications.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Jim worked as a member of the technical staff at Hughes Aircraft Company and as a software design engineer at Advantest America, Inc. His engineering education and his industry experience inform his practice and provide additional value to his clients.

Jim is recognized in Managing Intellectual Property magazine's IP Stars for his work in IP law work.
