With nearly three decades of patent law experience, Jim prepares and prosecutes patents in the electrical and computer engineering-related fields.

Jim Go provides clients with vital counsel on a full range of intellectual property (IP) matters. These include U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, patent reexaminations, opinions of patent validity and infringement, strategic IP planning, due diligence, portfolio management, litigation support, and IP counseling.

Jim’s clients are involved in a variety of technologies, including computer software and hardware, analog and digital circuits, internet and electronic commerce technologies, semiconductor processes, photonics, optics, networking, and communications.

Jim’s technical background informs practice and provides additional value to his clients. He has engineering education and past industry experience as a member of the technical staff at Hughes Aircraft Company and as a software design engineer at Advantest America, Inc.
