Perkins Coie attorneys were mentioned in “A Hire Gear: Big Law's Top Laterals of 2020,” an article in The American Lawyer*, regarding the move of 17 White Collar & Investigations and Financial Services Litigation attorneys from Richards Kibbe & Orbe to Perkins Coie.

A group of 17 white-collar lawyers from New York boutique Richards Kibbe & Orbe, including one of the firm’s co-founders, Lee Richards, left to join Perkins Coie. Twelve partners, two counsel and three associates joined Perkins Coie in New York City and Washington, D.C., including former litigation co-chairman David Massey. Lee and David are former assistant U.S. attorneys for the Southern District of New York. The other partners joining Perkins Coie in New York were Shari Brandt, Rowan Gaither, Arthur Greenspan, Margaret Meyers, Matthew Riccardi, James Q. Walker and Daniel Zinman. Partners David Daniels and Jamie Schafer joined the firm’s D.C. office. The loss for Richards Kibbe accounted for a little more than a quarter of the 60- attorney firm’s head count, and nearly half of its partners.
