Of the national law firms handling the most patent defense cases, Perkins Coie ranked fourth, with 226 cases across 27 jurisdictions from 2020 to 2022. This is the third year in a row Perkins Coie has achieved this placement.

Lex Machina’s Patent Litigation Report summarizes federal district court data from the past decade and post-grant data since the Patent Trial and Appeal Board’s inception in 2012. The report also identifies key patent litigation trends that have emerged in the last year.
