He is founder of the National Child Protection Task Force (NCPTF), which brings together experts in legal strategy, open source intelligence investigations (OSINT), cellular mapping and analysis, dark web, cryptocurrency, and more to aid law enforcement agencies around the world on cases involving missing, exploited, and trafficked children. Kevin has assisted with the recovery of numerous missing and exploited children and the identification and apprehension of sexual predators in multiple states. He is an international leader in innovative approaches to synthesizing legal, closed, and open source information to support missing person recovery and counter-human trafficking cases worldwide
  • T. Markus Funk, Ph.D, Perkins Coie LLP. The firmwide chair of Perkins Coie’s White Collar & Investigations practice, Markus Funk is a decorated former federal prosecutor in Chicago, and a former section chief with the U.S. State Department-Balkans. Funk is the co-author of the 2016 book, Child Exploitation and Trafficking: Examining Global Enforcement and Supply Chain Challenges and US Responses (second edition).
