SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (September 24, 2014) - San Francisco partner Bobbie Wilson is among 50 prominent California women attorneys recognized this year by The Recorder in its fourth annual Women Leaders in Tech Law list.  This is the second year in a row that Bobbie has been recognized on this prestigious list.

This year’s honorees were chosen by editors of The Recorder based on their recent accomplishments and their demonstrated ability to lead.  According to The Recorder:  “…these are women who lead litigation and deals; who lead in-house teams and firm practice groups; who are thought leaders; and who lead the way for other women seeking roles in the region’s most dynamic sector.”  The publication honored the winners at a September 23 reception in San Francisco.

Bobbie, a member of the firm’s Litigation practice, has extensive experience in complex civil litigation primarily in the area of intellectual property.  She works on patent, trade secrets, Internet privacy, and Section 230 litigation under the Communications Decency Act.  Bobbie also serves as the lead trial counsel in complex class action litigation and patent cases.  She represents some of the most admired and successful technology companies in the country working with leading modem manufacturers on trade secret cases and representing Internet companies in high-profile copyright cases.  Her winning courtroom style focuses on ensuring that the jury “gets it” and understands why her clients should win, sometimes against overwhelming odds.  From such work Bobbie was recognized by Managing Intellectual Property as an IP Star (2014), one of the Top 250 Women in IP (2014) and among the Top 75 Women Litigators, Daily Journal (2014).
