On June 25, Seattle Partner Lynne Graybeal, along with other panelists, spoke on “Adapting to a Changing World: Appetite & Acquisition in the Art Market Today.” The panel discussed the wide-ranging present and future impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the U.S. and international art markets, including the response of and adaptations to the economic shut down by collectors, galleries, auction houses, museums, art fairs, and artists. The discussion also considered whether some of the current market adaptations may have a positive impact as businesses re-open and we incorporate physical distancing into our daily lives.
