Chief of Business Operations Tammy Baldwin was quoted in “4 Firms Illustrate How COVID Has Reshaped The Law Office,” an article in Law360,* regarding the firm's approach to transitioning to an all-hoteling model for employees working out of the firm's offices.
The news was "a little tough on employees," Tammy said. It fueled a lot of questions. If all offices were shared, they wanted to know, then where would they store their files? What would become of their tchotchkes? Where would they put their office shoes?
"It was pretty shocking, and they were a little concerned about 'what did it mean,'" she said. "And then, of course, the pandemic hit. All those concerns about remote work kind of went out the window."
"We are an innovative firm. We wanted to take a chance," Tammy said. "We really felt like this was the right thing, that we were listening to our employees, listening to the market and what folks wanted."
