Partners Shari Brandt and Rowan Gaither were mentioned in "UBS, Brokers Seek Final Toss of Swiss LIBOR Case" an article in Law360,* regarding the tossing of a proposed class action over alleged interest rate manipulation.

In a motion to dismiss filed Friday, UBS and the remaining broker defendants said Fund Liquidation Holdings, which took over the suit from the original plaintiff, Sonterra Capital Master Fund, had not fixed the issues that led the first three complaints to be dismissed.

“This is plaintiff's fourth attempt to state a claim for relief, but plaintiffs have still not cured the myriad deficiencies the court identified in Sonterra I and II,” the motion reads.

The brokers are represented by Shari and Rowan of Perkins Coie LLP.
