PALO ALTO (June 4, 2021)Perkins Coie is pleased to have represented Synchron, a brain interface platform company, in its Series B $40 million round of financing led by Silicon Valley venture capital fund Khosla Ventures.

The funding will be used to launch a pivotal clinical study in the U.S. of Synchron’s StentrodeTM technology to enable the use of digital devices by patients with limb paralysis. Funds will also be used to seed a development pipeline of neurointerventional sensing and stimulating products addressing multiple neurological indications.

The Perkins Coie deal team was led by Palo Alto partner Adrian Rich and included associates Jessica North and Navneet Mattu.
