SEATTLE (January 28, 2021)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that it has received the top rating of 100% in the 2021 Corporate Equality Index survey and has been designated as one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality” for the 13th consecutive year. The survey is run by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC), America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve LGBTQ equality.

Perkins Coie’s top rating in the survey ranks it among major businesses across America that have earned the highest score for their policies covering LGBTQ employees and their advocacy for LGBTQ equality.

To achieve a score of 100 and be recognized among the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality,” businesses must have fully inclusive equal employment opportunity policies, provide equal employment benefits, show organizational LGBTQ competency, and demonstrate their commitment to equality publicly as well as exercising responsible citizenship.
