Annual Survey Shows Firm As 3rd in Country for Patent Defense and 4th for Overall Patent Litigation in 2014

SEATTLE, Wash. (November 3, 2015) - Perkins Coie was the 3rd most hired law firm in the country for patent litigation defense cases and the 4th most hired law firm for overall patent cases in 2014, according to Corporate Counsel’s annual Patent Litigation Survey. The firm’s defense ranking is up three spots and its overall ranking is up one spot from last year. This marks the 5th consecutive year that Perkins Coie has been in the top 10. The survey ranks firms based on the number of patent lawsuits that they filed on behalf of plaintiffs or were hired to defend against in federal district court in the previous calendar year.
