SEATTLE (November 1, 2019) - Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that it has been named the 2020 U.S. News - Best Lawyers® “Law Firm of the Year” in Litigation - Environmental and Patent Law.

Only one law firm receives the “Law Firm of the Year” designation in each of the nationally ranked legal practice areas. Perkins Coie was selected based on a combination of the results of client surveys, background information provided by each law firm and responses to law firm surveys showing the high regard that lawyers at other firms in the relevant practice areas have for the firm.

Perkins Coie’s showing in the 2020 U.S. News - Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” list includes first-tier rankings in 38 practice areas nationally and first-tier rankings in 65 practice areas in 14 specific regional markets, including Alaska, Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Idaho, Los Angeles, Madison, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

This is the fourth time that Perkins Coie has been named U.S. News - Best Lawyers® “Law Firm of the Year” in Patent Law after being named in 2018, 2014 and 2013. 

Earlier this year, 283 Perkins Coie attorneys throughout the country were selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2020 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
