BELLEVUE, Wash. (May 12, 2022)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Sheree Strom Carson, a veteran commercial litigation partner, has been appointed as the managing partner of the firm’s Bellevue office, effective July 1, 2022. Sheree will take over as Bellevue office managing partner from Kristine Wilson, who has been appointed as chair of the firm’s Real Estate & Land Use practice.

“Sheree and Kris have both consistently demonstrated their dedication to our clients and their many capabilities as leaders at Perkins Coie over many years,” said Firmwide Managing Partner Bill Malley. “We congratulate Sheree and Kris on their respective appointments and know their experience, insights, and collaborative leadership will continue to benefit both our Bellevue office and the firm’s Real Estate & Land Use practice.”

Sheree is a 23-year veteran of the firm and a partner with the Commercial Litigation practice. Sheree focuses her practice on energy regulatory proceedings and counsels clients on a wide variety of state regulatory matters. She brings strong leadership experience through her past service on the Partner Compensation Committee and Partner Compensation Resource Committee as well as the Bellevue Hiring, Pro Bono, and Diversity & Inclusion Committees. Kris focuses her practice on guiding developers in a range of projects, from large-scale, mixed-use, high-density urban retail centers to energy projects in remote rural areas and coastline zones. She brings her 20 years of real estate and land use practice knowledge as well as firm and national real estate and land use industry group leadership experience to this role. Kris is committed to the local community and has served on the boards of YWCA Seattle-King-Snohomish, ULI Northwest, and the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, among other groups and institutions.

“I’m excited by the opportunity to lead Perkins Coie’s Bellevue office as we continue to serve clients with diverse interests ranging from energy, utilities, and technology to real estate, general business, estate planning, and education,” said Sheree. “I look forward to working closely with all our attorneys and business professionals in providing our clients with excellent legal counsel.”

“I was honored to be named chair of Perkins Coie’s Real Estate & Land Use practice and appreciate the continued support and trust of the firm’s leadership, as well as my colleagues and clients,” said Kris. “The practice is thriving, and I look forward to continuing to work with my dedicated colleagues to help our clients here in the Pacific Northwest, across the country, and around the globe to succeed as they build and invest in our communities.”
