Kevin Hamilton was quoted in a Law360* article, "Retail Developments To Watch In 2018," regarding the FCC's decision to override net neutrality regulations and its effect on online retailers, as well as privacy and security for retailers.

“You’re going to see smaller online retailers or emerging brands having a less equal playing field to run their own websites when they have to pay higher fees to have faster service,” he said, noting that he thinks the repeal could decrease competition or lead to increased costs for those trying to keep up with giant online retailers.

“Data breaches are virtually commonplace now,” Hamilton said. “You can’t say it happens sometimes; it happens all the time. You can’t say it happens to some retailers; it happens to all the retailers.”
