James G. Snell was quoted in the Law360 article "Modest Calif. Privacy Law Changes Leave Cos. Eyeing 2020" regarding businesses' efforts to amendment California's landmark privacy rules.

"One of the challenges with this statute is that while it has an effective date, when it was passed it was acknowledged that amendments were needed, and the statute also requires the attorney general to issue regulations about its interpretation," said James. "So it's a challenging position for companies to be working on complying with a dynamic law that's in the process of changing and continues to change."
