The panel examined how having strong patents is a must in today’s environment.  Specific topics addressed were evaluation of patent landscape and competitive analysis; IP generation including identification of patentable IP and application preparation/filing; working with internal teams such as sales/marketing and R&D; and forming a strong patent strategy.
