Sarah Piepmeier was quoted in the Law360* article, "Cisco, Amazon Push to Consolidate Network IP Cases in Calif.," regarding the consolidation of nine infringement suits in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Northern District of California.

Sarah said consolidation is warranted because there will be significant overlapping discovery issues in all nine cases concerning the value and transfer of the patents to Proven Networks, which acquired them in February.

"All five of these patents are going to raise the same standing, ownership, assignment and licensing issues, and that will cut across all nine actions in three districts," Sarah said.
