Seattle (October 8, 2019) - Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Seattle Office Managing Partner and Firmwide Chair of Business Litigation, James Williams, has been named a 2019 “Power 100” business leader and influencer by the Puget Sound Business Journal.

The “Power 100” list highlights Seattle-area business leaders who have helped define and drive the region’s global reputation as a leading business, technology and innovation center. This is the list’s inaugural year.

As the Seattle Office Managing Partner, James manages Perkins Coie’s headquarters office, its largest location, with over 300 attorneys and 600 staff. He has also served on the firmwide Executive Committee, the Associate Evaluation Committee and as Chair of the Seattle Office Diversity Committee.

In terms of professional leadership and community involvement, James is the Washington State Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates, he Co-Chairs the Washington State Bar Leadership Institute for young diverse lawyers, and he is a board member of the King County Bar Foundation.
