Portland, Ore. (March 31, 2014) - Perkins Coie represented client Simple, a bank services provider that combines innovative technology, user experience, and expertise in behavioral economics to help customers spend smarter and save more, in its acquisition by BBVA, a customer-centric global financial services group.  Simple will continue to operate as an independent business in parallel with BBVA’s US banking operations, BBVA Compass Bancshares, Inc.

Led by Portland partner Brent Bullock, the Perkins Coie team included Portland partner Chris Hall, Seattle partner Stacey Ravetta, Seattle counsel Jeff Minzel and Portland associates Rose Alappat and Russ Terry.
