Perkins Coie Partners Albert M. Ferlo, William G. Malley and Eric D. Miller were lauded as "Legal Lions" in the Law360 article, "Law360's Weekly Verdict: Legal Lions & Lamb," regarding the recent victory with government attorneys on Tuesday before the D.C. Circuit Court which held that an additional environmental review isn’t required for Maryland’s $5.6 billion light rail project.

In another win this week before a federal appeals court, Perkins Coie LLP, along with government attorneys, secured a favorable decision Tuesday when the D.C. Circuit held that an additional environmental review isn’t required for Maryland’s $5.6 billion light rail project, concluding that the government sufficiently examined the potential effects that declining ridership and other issues on Washington’s troubled Metrorail system could have on the proposed Purple Line extension. Maryland is represented by Attorney General Brian E. Frosh and Assistant Attorney General Julie T. Sweeney, and Albert M. Ferlo, William G. Malley and Eric D. Miller of Perkins Coie LLP.
