The primary authors of the Consumer Finance Legal Report include:

• David Biderman, partner and chair of Perkins Coie’s Mass Tort Litigation and Consumer Class Action practices, has represented companies in state and federal courts in California for three decades. David also led Perkins Coie’s full-service Product Liability team for more than 15 years--a team that defended more than 1,000 toxic tort cases pending in Los Angeles and Northern California state courts.

• Kristine Kruger, a senior attorney who represents clients in food litigation matters, class action defense, complex product liability, and consumer finance litigation, in addition to regulatory, compliance and enforcement matters.

• Aaron Goldstein, a senior attorney who advises clients on complex commercial and consumer litigation matters, with a focus on representing financial institutions, mortgage originators, servicers, trustees and investors on a wide range of regulatory, compliance, enforcement and litigation issues.

• Josh Schaer, an associate representing financial institutions in real estate litigation, including managing discovery, motions and appeals. Josh has handled civil and criminal cases for nearly two decades.
