SEATTLE (January 13, 2021)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that five attorneys have been promoted to senior counsel, effective January 1, 2021. Senior counsels have at least eight years of experience, are recognized for delivering high-quality legal work, are able to supervise junior lawyers and staff, and collaborate with partners on managing client engagements.

Perkins Coie 2021 Senior Counsel Class

Dan Keese (Portland) is a member of the Patent Litigation practice. As a patent litigator and registered patent attorney, his practice involves patent litigation in district courts, the International Trade Commission, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, trade secret litigation, and patent counseling and analysis. He focuses his practice on matters involving semiconductors, electronics, and communications. He enjoys digging into the technology and the law to get results for clients.

 
Sarah Konz

Sarah Konz (Denver) is a member of Technology Transactions & Privacy Law practice. Sarah focuses her practice on the transactional issues related to intellectual property. This includes negotiating and drafting agreements in the areas of complex procurement arrangements, patent licensing, technology development and transfer, product manufacturing, distribution and sales, maintenance and support agreements, content creation and distribution, marketing and advertising services, and other intellectual property licenses.

Dave Pekarek Krohn (Madison) is a member of the Patent Litigation practice. He has represented clients in patent infringement suits involving patents in a range of technologies, focusing on electrical engineering and computer science. Dave has also litigated patents related to cloud computing, streaming media, e-mail technology, video game systems, light-emitting diodes, and logic circuits, and has also represented pharmaceutical companies in Hatch-Waxman litigation.
