Partner Mike Sharkey was quoted in “Negotiate Dispute Resolution Rules Early,” an article in Business Insurance*, regarding policyholders negotiation of better terms.
Michael F. Sharkey said “There are insurance companies that take a hard line and say they’re not going to budge,” but he has had some success negotiating the issue and making it optional on the policyholder’s part.
