LeAnn Johnson Koch was quoted in The Hill article, "Trump Sides With Farmers in Ethanol Proposal, Angering Oil Industry," regarding the proposal by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that would require oil refineries to blend more ethanol into gasoline.

“Let’s not sugar coat it, ethanol mandates are being raised because a handful of corn-state senators have extorted it from the president using election year politics,” LeAnn, [a member of] the Small Refiners Coalition, said in a statement.
