LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 9, 2018) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Jon G. Daryanani has been named Managing Partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office. Jon succeeds Audra Mori, who had served in the role since April 2017 before recently being appointed to a judgeship in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

A partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment practice, Jon advises clients on various matters in employment and labor litigation. His experience representing clients includes civil litigation, class actions involving wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and misappropriation of trade secrets claims. Jon’s clients operate in several industries, including manufacturing, technology, entertainment, social media, banking and energy. He has successfully litigated claims brought to state and federal courts including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, California’s Labor Commissioner’s Office and Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the New York City Commission on Human Rights.

Jon has received several accolades over the course of his career, including being named to the 2017 Super Lawyers list for Employment & Labor by Southern California Super Lawyers and Los Angeles Magazine, the 2011 “Top 20 Under 40” L.A. Lawyers list by the Daily Journal, and the 2010 Southern California Rising Star list by Southern California Super Lawyers. He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and received his B.S. from California State University, Northridge, and previously practiced as a C.P.A. Jon also serves on Perkins Coie’s Hiring Committee.
