Jennifer Bluestein was quoted in The American Lawyer* article, "Remote School Is Now a Marathon, Not a Sprint. How Will Firms Support Parents?" regarding Perkins Coie's flexibility and support of its lawyer-parents during the adjustment to remote school for their children.

“Rather than focusing on accommodations, we’re trying to focus on transparency,” Jennifer said. For associates that means “you don’t need to give us any explanation. Just tell us what you need from us.” That could be unusual hours or a part-time schedule.

“We’re also letting people know that if you need a reduced work schedule or a leave of absence, you’re not tanking your career,” she said.
