Partner Janis Kestenbaum was quoted in “FTC to Shake Up Privacy Enforcement in Wake of AMG Ruling,” an article in Law360,* regarding privacy and data security enforcement at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

"We have been seeing a trajectory in terms of privacy and data security enforcement at the FTC that's all gone in one direction, which is up," said Janis, former senior adviser to the agency's last Democratic chair, Edith Ramirez. "This trend will only continue and likely accelerate with the change in administration, and we should expect to see the commission trying to use every tool at its disposal and trying to regain the tools that have been taken away from them with the recent AMG Capital decision."
