Perkins Coie Seattle Office Managing Partner James Williams was featured in “Perkins Coie Seattle Managing Partner James Williams Looks Back on First-Year Success for Black Boardroom Initiative,” an article in the Puget Sound Business Journal, regarding the effort and collaboration that contributed to the success of the Black Boardroom Initiative.

“… I think it’s necessary because as I look at the landscape, throughout the country, and in the Northwest in particular, and we look at the publicly traded companies, there is really a significant absence of African Americans on those boards, and we all collectively need to be doing something about it,” James said.
