Deb Ruffins was quoted in The American Lawyer article, "Even During a Pandemic, Law Firm Marketing Requires More Than a Virtual Handshake," regarding the firm's marketing department's refocus from events to content production.

Panelist Deborah Ruffins noted that her firm was able to attract some complimentary press based on the speed at which they were able to pivot towards an entirely virtual working environment. That process included reorienting the marketing department’s focus from events to content production.

Deb noted that media such as podcasts, videos and webinars were used “more intensely” than before the pandemic, while also stressing the importance of using dashboard analytics to help track who is engaging with that content and how often. “I’m sure all of us have had an incredible spike from content into interactions, engagement online, social, etc.,” she said.
