On Thursday, January 20, 2022, Perkins Coie hosted a panel discussion addressing the scientific standards in cannabis. The panel was moderated by Andrew Kline, senior counsel at Perkins Coie and former public policy director for the National Cannabis Industry Association. Our panelists included Dr. Stephen Dahmer, chief medical officer of Goodness Growth Holdings/Vireo Health, Alena Rodriguez, managing director at Rm3 Labs, Kathleen May, chair of ASTM International’s D37 Committee on Cannabis, and Nandakumara (Nandu) Sarma, director of dietary supplements and herbal medicines at US Pharmacopeia (USP).
