WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 10, 2023)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that partner Brian P. Sylvester has been selected by the National Bar Association (NBA) for its 2023 “40 Under 40 Nation’s Best Advocates” list.   

Brian will receive this honor at the NBA’s 98th Annual Convention and Awards Gala on Wednesday, August 2, in Minneapolis. As a partner in the firm’s Chambers-ranked Food and Beverage Regulatory and Litigation practices, Brian focuses on FDA and USDA regulatory matters and is a leading authority on food tech regulation. He serves as a trusted advisor to global brands, startups, life science companies, investors, and trade associations and is a frequent speaker at industry-leading events in the United States, the European Union, Israel, and other parts of the world.   

Outside of his formal law practice, Brian sits on the Board of Trustees of the Harmony Public Charter Schools and on the Board of Directors of Operation Understanding DC, a nonprofit organization that runs a transformative leadership and cultural education program for high school students in the Washington, DC area. He also holds leadership roles on alumni organizations at Dartmouth and Cornell Law School, from which he received his undergraduate and law degrees, respectively.
