Bradley Dlatt was quoted in Law360* article "Attys Don't See Ill. Justices Joining Virus Coverage Forum Yet" stating "fresh eyes" are needed on COVID-19 coverage cases by the Illinois high court justices. Courts are throwing out some of these cases despite scientific studies showing how the coronavirus physically alters property, he said.

Bradley, who represents policyholders, said in an email that courts have substituted their own judgments for those of scientific experts. And the decisions have been made "largely while sitting at home on Zoom," he pointed out, noting the virus made it unsafe for judges to use their own courtrooms during the pandemic.
