SPEAKERS:

Alison Davis - Alison is a board member for Blockchain Capital, a venture and private equity fund headquartered in San Francisco that invests in Blockchain related entities and technologies. She is an investor in that space personally. She also chairs the technology committee of the Board of Royal Bank of Scotland; it focuses on understanding implications of emerging technologies, including Blockchain, for financial services. She is also passionate about helping women succeed and is involved in a broad number of initiatives supporting women in business more generally.

Jessica Groopman - Jessica Groopman is an industry analyst and founding partner at Kaleido Insights, a research and advisory firm specializing in emerging technology and enterprise innovation. She leads Kaleido’s automation practice, conducting research on blockchain, AI and IoT. Jessica is a frequent speaker at IoT industry events and media outlets, and has served as a contributing member of the International IoT Council, IEEE’s Internet of Things Group and FC Business Intelligence’s IoT Nexus Advisory Board.

Dawn Newton - Founder and chief operating officer of Netki, Inc., Dawn has 20+ years of experience in operations management of tech startups and is an industry expert in rapidly scaling support and billing teams. She was recently named one of L.A.’s Women of Influence by the Business Journal, and one of the Power Women in FinTech by InnoTribe.

Monica Quaintance - Monica Quaintance leads Engineering and Adoption Strategy at Kadena. She is the former technology lead of the Data Engineering and Infrastructure team at Rent the Runway and a former Qualitative Analytics Engineer at the SEC. Prior to that, Monica securitized and restructured commercial real estate assets in the Investment Banking group at Cushman and Wakefield. Monica has degrees in Statistics and Probability as well as Economics from Columbia University.
