Barbara Schussman was quoted in The Mercury News article, “Menlo Park: City Tables Stanford’s Office Plan After Saying it was Misled,” regarding the City Council’s decision to table Stanford’s plan to increase office space along Sand Hill Road near the university.

At its meeting Tuesday, the council said Stanford didn’t notify the city of its Quarry project. But a Stanford land-use attorney noted the planned Center for Academic Medicine campus and as many as 800 parking spaces were approved in 2000 and the project won’t draw additional traffic to the area.

“Continued new development on the campus is not new information,” said attorney Barbara Schussman.
