Overview

For nearly 20 years, Veronica Ascarrunz has litigated complex patent, trademark, and trade secret matters in federal courts, at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and at the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC).

Veronica represents clients in a range of industries, including medical device, pharmaceutical, software, semiconductor, telecommunications, and consumer products technology. She has secured successful outcomes for dozens of clients in Section 337 ITC investigations at all stages, from early resolution through trial and appeal. Veronica’s experience also includes patent infringement litigation, Hatch-Waxman litigation, product development license disputes, and USPTO inter partes proceedings.

The immediate past president of the ITC Trial Lawyers Association, Veronica is a frequent speaker on litigation at the ITC. She is an emeritus member and a former officer of the Giles Sutherland Rich American Inn of Court.
