Aaron Goldstein draws on his nearly two decades of experience as a trial lawyer to provide clients with strategic advice prior to and throughout all phases of litigation. As a key member of the firm’s national Litigation practice, Aaron represents clients in class actions and litigation in state and federal courts across the country with a particular focus on consumer protection defense and privacy and data security issues.
Aaron has defended companies in cases alleging improper consumer charges and practices, defective products, violations of credit reporting and debt collection statutes, and data security and privacy breach litigation. He also represents clients in state and federal regulatory proceedings and examinations.
In addition to his experience in the courtroom, Aaron counsels clients on compliance and litigation avoidance in the areas of privacy and data protection. He assists clients with navigating the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other privacy and data security laws and regulations. Aaron is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) as credentialed through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
